The Daily Mail claim that Saint-Maximin’s Newcastle United “future is in doubt” after he was left out of the starting XI.

Saint-Maximin was left out of the team because of a hamstring problem, according to head coach Bruce.

However, the report claims that the 22-year-old was “fully fit and available for selection”.

Bruce yesterday claimed that Saint-Maximin was doubtful for tonight’s FA Cup tie with a sore back and hamstring.
