Allan Saint-Maximin's brilliant message as he pushes for Newcastle United comeback
Allan Saint-Maximin’s in a hurry to return for Newcastle United.
Steve Bruce hopes to have Saint-Maximin back from injury for Saturday’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
The winger has been sidelined for a month with a hamstring problem. However, Saint-Maximin is back in training at Newcastle – and pushing for a place in Bruce’s squad. Speaking after the weekend’s FA Cup tie against Rochdale at the weekend, head coach Bruce said: “We’ve missed him. He’s a threat, so lets hope he come back this weekend.”Saint-Maximin – and his pace – has been missed by United in recent weeks. Bruce’s side has only won one game since he pulled up injury late the club’s win over Southampton at St James’s Park last month.
The 22-year-old has posted a photograph on Twitter of himself sprinting in training with the caption: “When you want to come back quickly.”
