Andy Carroll & Allan Saint-Maximin return – but goalscoring problems remain for Newcastle United

Frontline duo Allan Saint-Maximin and Andy Carroll both returned to the Newcastle United first-team against Brighton – but old problems remain for Steve Bruce’s Magpies.

No goals and not a whole lot of chances created meant United had to settle for a point against the Seagulls – and it could have been a whole lot worse, but for Fabian Schar’s miraculous goal line clearance in the second half.
