Andy Carroll facing uncertain future at Newcastle United

Andy Carroll is finally over the “mystery” hip injury that sidelined him in January, according to a report.

The Daily Mail report that the Newcastle United striker is now pain-free as he waits for football, suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, to restart.

Carroll, however, faces an uncertain future at St James’s Park.

The 31-year-old, re-signed on a free transfer last summer, is out of contract in the summer.

Carroll – who impressed late last year – could yet earn a new deal.
