Andy Robertson makes surprise Newcastle United prediction ahead of Liverpool visit

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has made a surprise Newcastle United prediction ahead of his side’s visit to St James’s Park.

Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League leaders travel to Tyneside on Wednesday evening looking to further cement their place at the top of the top flight standings – and Scotland international Robertson admits he’s expecting a ‘tough’ test against a Steve Bruce side who ‘will give absolutely everything’.

“We go to Newcastle and we try to bounce back, of course we do,” the defender said after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with West Brom.

"But it’s going to be another tough task. I know Steve Bruce’s teams will give absolutely everything, they always have done. I know Newcastle is never an easy place to go.
