'Christmas Carroll incoming' – Newcastle United fans react to Steve Bruce's team v Everton
Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has named his team to face Everton – and as expected he's rung the changes.
Here’s how YOU reacted to the starting XI at St James’s Park.
@Clarence_Acuna1 – “I'm all for giving people a chance but Joelinton needs dropping. I'd of taken him out of the 18 today and started with Gayle or Muto with the other on the bench.
@MichaelGallon – “Dropping Manquillo. Unbelievable - madness.”
@Clinton_Forde – “Belated 'Christmas' Carroll goal incoming…”
@nufcsanjay – “Strong XI that, good to have Carroll and Joelinton alongside each other again. Shelvey and Hayden duo will be key as well. Resting Manquillo probably the sensible option.”
@bodas73 – “Manquillo very unlucky to be dropped today IMO.”
@NUFCDefenceFC – “BIG ANDY But why no Manquillo?”
@_arrongallagher – “How come Gayle keeps getting a place on bench or few mins here and there? Think it’s time to give muto a chance.”
