Deadline day move for Newcastle United winger collapses over late paperwork
A deadline day move for Rolando Aarons to Huddersfield Town collapsed – because of late paperwork.
The Newcastle United winger had travelled to the Championship club to complete a move in the final hours of the domestic transfer window.
Aarons was one of a number of players head coach Steve Bruce had been hoping to move out of the club.
However, the paperwork on the deal wasn’t submitted to the EFL in time to complete the transfer.
And Aarons, 24, will now return to United.
