Dwight Gayle 'facing THREE months' on the sidelines at Newcastle United
Dwight Gayle is facing up to three months on the sidelines, according to a report.
The striker hurt his knee in Tuesday’s 3-0 friendly win over Crewe Alexandra in York.
And Gayle will be out for three months, according to the Daily Mail.
The injury has left head coach Steve Bruce – who has lost goalkeeper Martin Dubravka to a heel injury – short of options up front.
Andy Carroll is Steve Bruce’s only available striker, with Joelinton yet to return to pre-season training.
