Newcastle’s season has started off slowly - they’re yet to taste victory in all competitions.
Steve Bruce’s side currently sit second-bottom of the Premier League having taken just three points from their opening seven games.
Bruce has seen his side ship 16 goals in that time, the joint-worst record in the league so far this campaign.
However, one small positive is that they have managed to net eight times so far this season and apart from Leicester City, this is more than anyone else in the bottom-half.
Callum Wilson, despite being absent since August, is the joint top-scorer alongside Allan Saint-Maximin.
Jacob Murphy, Javi Manquillo, Sean Longstaff and Jeff Hendrick are the other players to grab a goal for United so far this season - but where do their strikes rank?

5. 4: Callum Wilson v Southampton
There’s very little wrong with this goal. The build-up is tidy and well worked and it’s a solid old-fashioned diving header from Newcastle's centre-forward, what is there not to like? (Photo by George Wood/Getty Images) Photo: George Wood
This goal wasn’t the best strike on this list, nor was it set-up by any individual brilliance. What it was however, was a superbly taken finish away at Old Trafford to get Newcastle back-level in the game that sparked tremendous scenes in the away end. Despite it being his first goal for the club, the coolness that Manquillo showed to finish made it look like he had scored 50 goals for Newcastle. Seemingly determined to take on the whole Leeds defence, the Frenchman jinked his way across the box, waiting and waiting for the opportunity to get his strike on-goal. He eventually did and the ball nestled into the bottom corner. (Photo by Ian MacNicol/Getty Images) Photo: Ian MacNicol
When Longstaff picked up the ball, it looked for all the world like he was going to deliver a cross into the box, however, he decided to unleash a strike that gave a despairing Ben Foster absolutely no chance. It was an absolute rocket of a goal that will be hard to top throughout the season. (Photo by Alex Morton/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Morton
