Former Newcastle United goalkeeper set for Tottenham Hotspur move

Fraser Forster’s set to join Tottenham Hotspur as a free agent this summer, according to reports.

Forster – who started his career at Newcastle United – has spent the past eight years at Southampto.

The 34-year-old’s contract at the St Mary’s Stadium expires at the end of the season.

And Tottenham, looking for back-up for Hugo Lloris, are “closing in” on a deal for the England international, according to the Daily Mail.

Hexham-born Forster left Newcastle in 2012 and joined Celtic, his former club loan.
