Former Aston Villa attacker Gabby Agbonlahor has delivered his verdict on a potential Newcastle United transfer.

Kristoffer Ajer has been heavily linked with a move to St James’ Park.

And Agbonlahor has weighed in with his opinion.

“I think he’s a good player but I don’t see him in the Premier League, to be honest,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

"He might get found out in the Premier League. You’ve got to respect how big the Premier League is.

“I’m not sure about that, I don’t think he’s ready for the Premier League yet.

“He wouldn’t get the time on the ball in the Premier League. You can’t be flying forward in the Premier League like he does.”
