Newcastle United made some quality signings, bringing in the likes of lethal striker Callum Wilson and exciting full-back Jamal Lewis to bolster their ranks. Steve Bruce also moved on a number of players to freshen up the squad. Here's a look at how every player to leave St James' Park last summer is getting on so far this season.

. Jake Turner - Morecambe - Loan
The ex-England youth international joined the League Two outfit on loan to gain some first-team experience. He's kept three clean sheets, the best of which was his league debut against Cheltenham where he made eight saves. Photo: James Chance
. Freddie Woodman - Swansea City - Loan
Another Magpies stopper out on loan, Woodman returned to Wales for a second consecutive temporary spell, after signing a new deal in August. The Swans are currently sixth in the table, just two points off the top of the league. Photo: Mike Hewitt
9. Florian Lejeune - Alaves - Loan
Newcastle's £8m man returned to Spain - where he'd previously featured for three different clubs - on a season-long loan. He's been one of Alaves' most consistent players, and helped his side draw 1-1 with Barcelona in October. Photo: Juan Manuel Serrano Arce
10. Yoshinori Muto - SD Eibar - Loan
The Japan international also headed out to La Liga. His club for the season are 12th in the table after a solid enough start to the season. Muto scored his first goal in a 1-0 win over Real Betis last weekend. Photo: Fran Santiago
11. Jetro Willems - Eintracht Frankfurt - End of loan
The Netherlands international hasn't had much of a look in at Frankfurt this season, and has been linked with a move back to St James' Park in January. He made 20 appearances for the Magpies last season. Photo: Clive Brunskill
12. Valentino Lazaro - Inter - End of loan
