5. November 6, 2020: Southampton (a) - 2-0 defeat
Newcastle put in a very uninspiring display in this game, a game which ended with their hosts going to the top of the table. A 7th minute goal from Che Adams set the Saints on their way and they never looked like losing the advantage.(Photo by Michael Steele/Getty Images) Photo: Michael Steele

6. April 12, 2019: Leicester City (a) - 1-0 victory
A game probably most remembered for Rafa Benitez’s passionate speech with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher post-match. Ayoze Perez’s first-half header made all the difference as a very ‘lively’ away end was sent home very happy. (Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images) Photo: Michael Regan

7. April 28, 2017: Cardiff City (a) - 2-0 victory
Newcastle had sealed promotion back to the Premier League four days earlier and a party was promised in South Wales. Goals from Christian Atsu and Issac Hayden secured a win which kept Newcastle’s title-hopes alive. (Photo by Stu Forster/Getty Images) Photo: Stu Forster

8. April 14, 2017: Leeds United (h) - 1-1 draw
A fortnight before the victory over Cardiff, Newcastle welcomed Leeds United to St James’s Park and it looked like Jamaal Lascelles had secured Benitez’s side all three-points, however, Newcastle conceded a needless free-kick and were punished by Chris Wood who stole a point for the visitors.
