Leaked image emerges of Newcastle United's 'new' home shirt

The leaked image, published on Twitter by @NUFC360, shows a new round-necked Puma home kit bearing the name of sponsor FUN88. Unlike this season’s home jersey, which has wide stripes, the shirt has thinner black and white stripes.

The leak comes after the club, which is yet to reveal any details for next season’s kits, confirmed that FUN88 had signed a new long-term agreement with the club.

“We’re delighted FUN88 has renewed its relationship with Newcastle United, and committed its support to the club over a number of years to come,” said United manager director Lee Charnley. "Building on the success of our partnership to date, we look forward to this next phase and working together to engage fans and grow our collective reach around the globe.”

Puma replaced Adidas as kit manufacturer in 2010/11 following Newcastle’s promotion to the Premier League.
