Liverpool travel to St James’s Park having played in a Champions League semi-final against Villareal in midweek.
The Reds won in comfortable fashion on Wednesday, however, with the second-leg just around the corner, there could be some rotation from Jurgen Klopp for this weekend’s clash on Tyneside.
Here, we take a look at the potential Liverpool team that could be selected by Klopp for their clash with Newcastle United:

9. RW: Mo Salah
After a lean spell in-front of goal compared to his usual standards, Salah is back to being one of the most fearsome attacking players in world football and will want to add to his six previous strikes against the Magpies. Photo: Catherine Ivill

10. ST: Diogo Jota
The Liverpool front-three is often a very fluid one and has great depth to it. Luis Diaz has been very impressive since his arrival but it could be Jota that is tasked with leading the line this weekend. Photo: Andrew Powell

11. LW: Sadio Mane
