Rony Lopes, Jarrod Bowen & more – the 13 deals NUFC could revisit in the January transfer window

Newcastle United are expected to have cash to spend in the January transfer window – should Steve Bruce feel the need to strengthen.

As has been the case in the past whether United dip into the market or not is likely to be determined by their league position.

Mike Ashley has rarely proven he is willing to add players from a position of strength – see January 2016, 2017 & the summer of 2012 for examples. So, if Bruce is to get new recruits, it’s likely United will be fighting it out for Premier League survival.

Should that be the case, it could see the club’s transfer team trawling shortlists of old. Here’s 13 players they could look to go back in for.
