The ex-Leyton Orient striker has been linked with a move to St James’s Park in the January window.

But the Charlton boss believes paper talk around his six-goal forward is an agent's work.

Bowyer told the South London Press: “That’s his agent who has put that out there.”

Bonne, who cost £200,000, has also been linked with Leicester City and Fulham.
