The Red Devils played in the Europa League on Thursday and emerged victorious with a resounding 4-0 win against Real Sociedad in Italy.
In order to keep his squad as fresh as possible, Solskjaer has confirmed he will make changes for the visit of Steve Bruce’s men to Old Trafford.
The Norwegian boss said: “Of course, it’s such a tight schedule and, as you saw today, we rotated quite a bit and made some changes after about an hour.
"It’s good for minutes and for form and for everyone. We’ve got to make changes, keep freshening up and then Sunday already, here we go again.”
What changes could Solsjkaer make to his Manchester United line-up?
It’s a big game for both teams as Newcastle strive to pull away from relegation danger. The Red Devils, on the other hand, still have a slim chance at winning the title.
