Martin Dubravka returns to Newcastle United squad as Eddie Howe makes one change for Arsenal

Eddie Howe’s named his Newcastle United starting XI for tonight’s game at the Emirates Stadium.

Howe’s side take on Premier League leaders Arsenal knowing a win would take them second in the division. Howe has made one change to his team, with Callum Wilson – who was a substitute against Leeds United on Tuesday night – replacing Chris Wood in the starting XI.

Asked about Wilson’s return, Howe said: "He’s keen to play. He's come back (from the World Cup), and picked up an illness. But he’s back, he’s fit. He’s ready, and we expect him to give us a different focal point to Chris.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Martin Dubravka, recalled from loan at Manchester United, is on the bench. The 33-year-old only made two cup appearances for Erik ten Hag's side in the first half of the season.

NEWCASTLE UNITED: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Guimaraes, Longstaff, Willock, Almiron, Joelinton, Wilson. Subs: Dubravka, Lascelles, Saint-Maximin, Ritchie, Lewis, Manquillo, Wood, Murphy, Anderson.
