MP demands 'answers and transparency' from Premier League over Newcastle United takeover

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, backed by Amanda Staveley and David and Simon Reuben, last week pulled out of a £300million deal over the Premier League’s failure to make a timely decision on approval.
The Premier League has made no comment on the process, and Lewell-Buck has written to chief executive Richard Masters to “ask for answers and greater transparency”.
