The visit to Lancashire will be Newcastle’s first game on British soil since their trip to Shanghai.

To round off their pre-season, United head to Hibernian on Tuesday, July 30 before welcoming Saint-Etienne to St. James’ Park, four days later.

Ticketing information will be announced by the club in due course.

Newcastle met Alex Neil’s side in a pre-season encounter two years ago, drawing 1-1.
