Newcastle United are targeting Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore, according to reports.
The Magpies could swoop to sign the former Barcelona man after holding an interest in the 22-year-old last summer, reports the Daily Mirror.
Traore has enjoyed a fine season at the Riverside Stadium and pocketed a hat-trick of awards at Boro's Player of the Year dinner yesterday evening.
But Rafa Benitez's side could face competition from Premier League rivals Everton and Chelsea - with the Londoners leading the chase for his signature for a reported fee of £30million.
Things are quieter on the Sunderland front, with the Black Cats' players still in contract limbo as Stewart Donald attempts to complete his takeover.
