Newcastle United return to Premier League action on Sunday (4:30pm kick-off) when they face Paul Heckingbottom’s side at Bramall Lane.
The Magpies were victorious against Brentford last weekend and earned a deserved point at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
Their return to Premier League action sees them make the trip to Yorkshire to face a Blades side that were defeated in the dying stages against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Both sides have injury worried to contend with heading into the game with the hosts impacted by nine potential absentees.
Here, we take a look at the injury problems facing both camps ahead of Sunday’s clash:

9. John Egan
Egan wasn’t included in the team that were defeated by Spurs after being injured whilst playing for the Republic of Ireland. Egan damaged his knee before heading off on international duty and aggravated that problem whilst away with Ireland. He is a doubt for the match with the Magpies but could feature. | Getty Images

10. Emil Krafth
Krafth is still recovering from an ACL injury he suffered against Tranmere Rovers in August last year. The Sweden international has been pictured training with the first-team in recent weeks but isn’t expected to be in contention for a spot in the matchday squad for a few more weeks. | Getty Images

11. Joe Willock
Willock suffered an achilles injury as he was on his way from recovering from a hamstring problem that kept him out of action during pre-season. He isn’t expected to be back in contention until after the next international break. | Getty Images

12. Joelinton
The Brazilian missed the trip to the San Siro through a knee-injury that he aggregated whilst on international duty earlier this month. He is not expected to return to the first-team fold for another couple of weeks. | Getty Images
