Newcastle United 2026/27 away kit launch: Newcastle United’s new Adidas away kit is set to go on sale this week.
Newcastle United’s 2026/27 Adidas away kit will go on sale at the club shop from 9am on Tuesday, July 21.
Last month, Newcastle released a divisive new black and white home shirt without a front-of-shirt sponsor. It was later revealed by The Gazette and confirmed by the club that KNOX Hydrate would be the club’s new front of shirt sponsor.
While the home shirts will have KNOX sponsorship added at a later date, the away shirt will go on sale with the KNOX logo present. The shirt sponsorship deal is worth £60million to the club over the next three years with an additional £18million going towards the rebranding of the training ground to The KNOX.

Newcastle’s club shop at St James’ Park has teased the release of the away shirt with new branding out front along with the date 21/07/26, to confirm when it will be released.
Videos have also surfaced online showing the new kits in storage at the club shop prior to going on official sale. The kit is a patterned dark blue with white trim. It features the Adidas trefoil logo, and perhaps its most notable feature is its use of a retro club crest.

The shirt adopts the Newcastle club crest used from 1976 to 1983. The circular crest features a magpie stood in front of a castle over a river with the words ‘Newcastle United Football Club’ around the perimeter.
It’s not the first time Newcastle have used a retro crest since returning to Adidas as kit partners in 2024. The club’s 2024/25 third kit featured the crest the club used from 1983 to 1988 and proved popular among supporters.
Newcastle’s pre-season started over the weekend with a 3-0 training ground friendly win over Darlington. Next up for Eddie Howe’s side is a trip across the river to Gateshead on Saturday, where the new away kit could make its debut.
