Sorloth is currently on a two-year loan at Trabzonspor and is rebuilding his career after struggling to make an impact at Selhurst Park following his £9million from FC Midtjylland in 2018.

With just one goal to his name in South London during 20 outings, the 24-year-old spent the remainder of last season at Belgium club Gent before moving to Turkey in the summer.

His form, unsurprisingly, has attracted interest from across Europe with the Magpies, Brighton and Monaco planning to watch the player against Besiktas on Saturday.

Trabzonspor, top of the Turkish top-flight, reportedly have a £6million option to purchase the Norwegian permanently this summer.
