Newcastle United drop defender hint ahead of Premier League trip to Aston Villa

Newcastle United have dropped a hint that defensive duo Florian Lejeune and Fabian Schar could return on Monday night.

Posting to their social media accounts United put up a picture of Lejeune and Schar both in the gym ahead of United’s Premier League trip to Aston Villa with emojis saying “back soon”.

Lejeune has been out with a knee injury since the start of 2019 while Schar (also knee) sat out the last game and Switzerland’s internationals.
