Newcastle United emerge as favourites to sign £22m Liverpool player this summer

The England international has struggled for game time at Anfield this season, and has been limited to just 12 appearances in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old hasn’t started a game in the top flight since late January, and understandably, there has been some speculation as to whether or not he will still be playing his football on Merseyside next season.

According to a recent report from Football Insider, West Ham are keen on the player, and could wrap up a deal if they meet the Reds’ £22 million valuation. Jurgen Klopp’s men signed Oxlade-Chamberlain for £35 million in 2017.

However, according to SkyBet, Newcastle are the most likely side to complete a deal for the ex-Arsenal man in the coming months.

The Magpies are priced at 3/1 to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain, while former club Southampton are priced at 4/1.

The Hammers currently have odds of 9/1.
