Newcastle United eye AC Milan and Man City target as striker remains on fence about future amid interest
Newcastle United are reportedly keen on Benfica and Portugal rising star Florentino Luis – but face a battle with Premier League rivals Manchester City to land the midfielder nicknamed ‘the octopus’.
The youngster is valued at around £35million, according to the Daily Mail, but could be allowed to leave the club on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan are also thought to be keen on the 20-year-old.
Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani is yet to decide on where his future lies having come to the end of his spell at Ligue 1 champions PSG.
The Uruguayan has long been linked with a Magpies move this summer, while Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan also remain in the hunt for the 33-year-old.
And, according to Spanish publication Don Balon, former Napoli man Cavani remains open to a number of options, despite a big play by Diego Simeone and Atletico.
