But the Vitesse Arnhem defender is also said to be on the radar of Scottish Premiership champions Rangers and Champions League outfit Atalanta.

According to a report in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, United are one of five clubs who’ve shown an interest in the centre-half, who has impressed since breaking into the Vitesse first-team in 2018.

Doekhi has played 34 games for Vitesse this season but is out of contract at the end of next season – and the report claims his club may well look to cash in on their talent when the window reopens this summer.
