Newcastle United eye SHOCK move for Premier League veteran – report

Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing up a SHOCK move for Premier League veteran Glenn Murray.

The Brighton frontman, 36, has cored just once for Seagulls this season in 14 appearances and is out-of-contract in the summer.

And according to the Guardian, could be set for a south coast exit with Newcastle and Aston Villa interested in a “six-month deal”.

Steve Bruce is keen to strengthen this month, but must move players out before he has space in his 25-man Premier League squad.
