Newcastle United failed with late deadline day move for Aston Villa star
Steve Bruce had hoped to sign two players on the final day of the January transfer window, thought to be Hamza Choudhury and Joe Willock.
But while the latter finalised his loan move from Arsenal, Choudhury stayed put at Leicester City after Brendan Rodgers struggled to find a suitable replacement.

Hide AdAnd according to The Herald, the Magpies switched their attention to Villa’s Nakamba, but were unable to land the Zimbabwe international.
Crystal Palace were also keen but Villa were reluctant to let him go as he would leave them without cover to Douglas Luiz.
The 27-year-old has started just twice in the Premier League this season, including Dean Smith’s side’s 2-0 win over Newcastle last month.
With DeAndre Yedlin allowed to join Galatasaray, Bruce has a place to fill in his 25-man squad.
