Here's how Twitter reacted to the 1-0 defeat...

@Joe1989NUFC - “We'd be relegated by now without Dubravka.”

@b_blackand – “What has happened to Sean Longstaff??? Awful today.”

@HD_07 – “It has been like this at #NUFC all season, now it's just without goals from the defenders.”

@JonnyD400 – “Actually... let’s be honest, the writing was on the wall as soon as he signed as manager.”

@chrisquinny01 – “Literally no words! If we don’t get relegated, it’ll come next year! We don’t deserve to be a Premier League team, we aren’t good enough, tbh we’ve just winged this season.”

@wandless05 – “Formation not working on any level. Pick two centre backs and play them. Midfield, S.Longstaff who I loved last season needs dropped. Joelinton, if your going to play him he needs a partner. Show some bottle, do your own thing Bruce ...please.”

@agbnufc – “Next week #NUFC points total will slip under last years after we hit top 7 form this time last season under Rafa. How are those who've spent the last 6 months saying 'we've got more points' going to react?

@TOONRafalution – “Remember when our goal difference was worth an extra point last season. Now at -17."

@ivey_eddy – “NUFC Should be investigated for impersonating a professional football team/club. Dubravka should be seriously thinking of getting away from this circus to save his excellent career.”
