Newcastle United fans reveal their Jeff Hendrick selection theories as Irishman is again preferred on the right against Manchester United
Steve Bruce has named his Newcastle United team for the visit of his former club Manchester United – and it’s fair to say the line up has got you all talking.
Here’s how #NUFC on Twitter reacted to the the gaffer’s starting XI at St James’s Park (kick-off 8pm)…
@Djfletch1969 – “How does Hendrick start and Fraser doesn’t?”
@Joeeeeeee_96 – “Wasn't Hendrick meant to be a back up CM anyways? Stop putting him on the right flank.”
@asabart14 – “4 3 3 ?”
@_dancarrington – “I miss miggy.”
@markytoonlad – “Hendrick is undroppable.”
@nufcsanjay – “Hayden and Shelvey have big jobs tonight, can't afford to give Bruno Fernandes all the time in the world. Shelvey especially needs to work hard, we can't have him strolling around tonight.”
@Michael92Smith – “Hendrick really gonna be in the wing instead of Fraser, Bruce what are you doing man.”
@MarcJobling – “#NUFC have got to go for this - they're facing a Man Utd without Martial, Greenwood or Pogba.”
