Newcastle United fans set for TV bonanza under Premier League restart plans

Up to five Premier League games will be shown on free-to-air TV, according to a report.

Newcastle United’s players are set to return to training on Tuesday ahead of a mid-June restart for the league, which has been suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

All of the remaining 92 games will be shown by one of four channels.

Sky Sports and BT Sport will screen the bulk of the games.

The Mirror claim that Amazon and the BBC will also screen matches.
