Newcastle United fans set for long wait in 'worst-case scenario'

The Premier League could return in the summer behind closed doors.

And The Mirror claim that a Government document set to be given to clubs will “spell out the possibility that in the worst-case scenario crowds might not be allowed back until a vaccine is found”.

The league was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Newcastle, set for a takeover, have nine games left to play this season.
