At 5pm tomorrow the transfer window slams shut and with Aarons cut adrift by Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce, the winger must find a new club – if he wants to get games between now and January.

Since breaking on the scene at United, Aarons has made just 22 appearances for the Magpies. He has spent time on loan domestically and on the continent.
Last season Aarons excelled in a short spell north of the border with Motherwell, but has previously been sent to Hellas Verona, Slovan Liberec, Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe Wanderers.
It is understood Huddersfield are interested in taking Aarons on a permanent deal, with United keen to shift the player off the books along with Christian Atsu, Achraf Lazaar and Henri Saivet.
