Newcastle United fresh 2026/27 kit leak with £73m duo as sponsorship truth revealed

Newcastle United 2026/27 kit leak: Further images showing Newcastle players wearing the new 2026/27 Adidas home kit have emerged amid sponsor speculation.

Newcastle United are set to release their new 2026/27 home shirt next week without a sponsor in place.

Leaked images show Newcastle stars Harvey Barnes and Malick Thiaw modelling the black and white Adidas kit without a sponsor. The club have teased that the home shirt will go on sale from June 10.

The Gazette understands that there is a high chance Newcastle will release the kit before a new front-of-shirt sponsor is announced. Having said that, a deal is being lined up and the club are in advanced negotiations regarding a new sponsor.

Club sources have confirmed that the new sponsor will be in place for the 2026/27 season, allaying fears from supporters.

However, social media speculation suggesting that health technology company ‘Whoop’ will be the new front of shirt sponsor are wide of the mark.

Newcastle’s lucrative three-year partnership with Sela worth £75million in total ended this summer, prompting uncertainty on the sponsorship front.

Newcastle have remained relaxed during an uncertain period on the commercial front, with betting sponsors axed by the Premier League this summer, leading to a difficult and competitive market. But the club already have several big deals lined up in addition to the new shirt sponsor.

Newcastle’s training ground will be rebranded as The KNOX by the time Eddie Howe and his players return for pre-season training. Chief executive officer David Hopkinson teased that ‘more will come’ in regard to major sponsorship deals.

But first, Newcastle are set to release their 2026/27 home kit next Wednesday. Photoshoots have also taken place with the away kit and third kit without a sponsor, which will be added once it is formally announced.
