Newcastle United have been linked with a move for a Brazilian left-back – as the club considers a permanent move for Danny Rose.

Rose spent the second half of last season on loan from Tottenham Hotspur – and the 30-year-old, signed after Paul Dummett and Jetro Willems suffered season-ending injuries, wants to stay at the club.

"We’ll have to have conversations with their respective clubs and look to see if we can make any of them permanent, or, the alternative is can we have them again for another year on loan,” said Bruce.

Sky Sports report that Newcastle are also interested in Sassuolo’s Rogerio. The former Brazil Under-20 international came up through the ranks of Juventus before joining Sassuolo on a permanent deal last year.
