Newcastle United linked with Serie A-based defender ahead of Danny Rose decision

Rose spent the second half of last season on loan from Tottenham Hotspur – and the 30-year-old, signed after Paul Dummett and Jetro Willems suffered season-ending injuries, wants to stay at the club.
Steve Bruce, United’s head coach, said that there would be “conversations” with the club’s of Rose and his fellow loanees, Nabil Bentaleb and Valentino Lazaro.

Sky Sports report that Newcastle are also interested in Sassuolo’s Rogerio. The former Brazil Under-20 international came up through the ranks of Juventus before joining Sassuolo on a permanent deal last year.
