Hide AdSky Sports claim his parent club Shanghai Shenhua will only allow Ighalo to remain in the North West if it is on a permanent deal, slapping a £20million price tag on the forward.
Sky Sports also report there is also strong summer interest from Newcastle: “It is thought Newcastle United would be interested in Ighalo if their proposed takeover is completed this summer.”
PCP Capital Partners’ joint bid with Reuben Brothers and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia could get the go-ahead this week.
