Newcastle United to miss out on top transfer target, Palace name price for star winger, and more
Newcastle United have reportedly admitted defeat in pursuit of one of their top transfer targets.
Jarrod Bowen of Hull City is in fine form so far this season with 15 league goals already, and Newcastle were reportedly keen on a January move to bring him to St James’ Park.

Hide AdHowever, according to the Northern Echo, Bowen’s fee would make him difficult to land, and interest from rival Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur has convinced Newcastle that they realistically will not be able to sign the talented forward.
The 22-year-old’s deal expires next summer, but Hull City bosses are sticking to their valuation of the talented star, who is vital to their play-off hopes this season.
