Ki Sung-yueng is looking to leave Newcastle United in January’s transfer window.
The midfielder, out of tomorrow’s game against Burnley, has found his opportunities limited under Steve Bruce.
And Ki’s father has been quoted in his native South Korea as saying that the 30-year-old is looking to leave in the New Year on a free transfer.
Ki hasn’t started a Premier League game since mid-August.
He was signed by Rafa Benitez, Bruce’s predecessor, last year on a two-year deal.
