Newcastle United suffer AFC Bournemouth injury blow

Newcastle United suffered an AFC Bournemouth injury blow as goalscorer Sean Longstaff was forced off just half an hour into his Premier League return.

The older of the Longstaff brothers was recalled to the United XI for the Vitality Stadium clash and had a hand in Dwight Gayle’s opener before netting the Magpies’s second just before being forced off the park with a knock.

The 23-year-old made his first top flight appearance since a late cameo at Southampton on March 7.
