Newcastle United have suffered a major injury blow after Isaac Hayden was taken off on a stretcher in the game at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Hayden was taken off just before half-time, with Brighton now 1-0 up at the break.
Newcastle United tweeted: “The Magpies are forced into a change as Isaac Hayden cannot continue following an accidental collision with Bissouma and is stretchered off.
“We wish Isaac a speedy recovery.”
Newcastle are deep in relegation trouble and are behind to their relegation rivals.
