Steve Bruce’s side have to wait until Wednesday before they are back in action again when they make the long trip south to face Bournemouth on the south coast. Between now and then there is set to be plenty of discussion surrounding both the takeover of Newcastle United and any transfers, ins and outs, ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
It is a curious time in football. England were meant to be playing host to a number of Euro 2020 matches and this is the period where we are usually focusing on just transfers.

9. Sean Dyche on transfer targets
Burnley will likely have to be active in the transfer market with the news key players are departing, including Jeff Hendrick. The club will need to add players in the centre of midfield and wide positions.
