Newcastle United takeover & transfer news: World Cup winner linked with Magpies; Pochettino competition
The World Cup winning midfielder is likely to leave Bayern Munich this summer – and according to Le10 Sport the Magpies have the 25-year-old on their radar, should the £300million takeover by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, Reuben Brothers and PCP Capital Partners get regulatory approval from the Premier League.
Manchester United retain an interest in the player, having seen a loan bid for Tolisso turned down in January.

Hide AdTolisso was part of France’s 23-man World Cup winning squad of 2018, making four appearances in Russia, including as a substitute in the 4-2 final win over Croatia.
Meanwhile, according to reports on the continent, Real Madrid are keen to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager.
Pochettino is at the top of the Magpies’ managerial wishlist along with former boss Rafa Benitez.
