Newcastle have been hit by several injury blows recently as they look to continue their strong start to the Premier League season and extend their unbeaten run to six matches. But a number of key players remain sidelined.

5. Elliot Anderson - knock

6. Emil Krafth - ACL/not in squad
The right-back has been left out of Newcastle’s squad for the first half of the campaign after suffering a serious knee injury.
7. Paul Dummett - calf
Dummett is yet to feature for Newcastle in the Premier League this season and is currently recovering from a calf injury.
8. Mark Gillespie - not in squad
