Newcastle United host Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night and one of their key players has made his long-awaited return to training. Joe Willock hasn’t featured for the Magpies since their win over Brighton at the end of last season, but he has been pictured training with the group ahead of their game with Edin Terzic’s side.
Although Willock isn’t expected to feature against the German side, his participation in training is a welcome boost ahead of a hectic fixture schedule coming up for the Magpies. Sandro Tonali also trained ahead of the clash with Dortmund.
Sven Botman, meanwhile, was not pictured training with the group as he continues his recovery from a knee-injury. The Dutchman is likely to spend a few more games on the sidelines.
