Newcastle have been active in every transfer market since the takeover of the club in October 2021 as they look to break into the Premier League’s ‘top six’.
This summer will likely be no different with the Magpies hoping they have European football on offer to any potential signings.
But what players should they be targeting? Will they look to sign ready-made ‘superstars’ like many have tipped they would when the takeover of the club was complete? Or will they look to be more shrewd, utilise various markets and sign some promising players for the future?
