Newcastle United's lack of wingers named by Steve Bruce is causing concern among the Magpies' fanbase

Andy Carroll again starts up front for Newcastle United at Aston Villa, but yet again the manager fails to name any wingers – and that decision has certain got the fanbase talking.

Here’s how #NUFC on Twitter reacted to the Newcastle United team news...

@newyorkmagpie – “Hayden is key today. Need to snuff out that Villa midfield.”

@DT3NCH – “Right, I'm back on the drink, 2 - 1 Toon win...#nufc.”

Cliffy @cliffy_83 – “So we’ve gone from 6 centre-backs at the start of the season to 2 half-fit ones in January...”

@connorlinsdell9 – “Yet again. No ACTUAL wingers on the wings with Carroll up front. Seriously, is there any point anymore.”

@steveorob – “Steve the oracle Bruce. Never plays wingers when Carroll plays.”

@Nicolam1980 – “Midfield is weak as water and that’s being polite.”

@Edit_Kev – “If this is 4 at the back and Hayden at the base of a mid diamond and Miggy a 10, then it 'might' work.”
